The Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival's Honor Award, which aims to pay respect to women who have been producing and working in our cinema as directors or actors for years, will find its owner for the 22nd time this year. The award is given to the actor who started his acting career with the play Bozkır Güzelliği in the 1983-1984 season at the Ankara State Theatre, worked at the İzmir State Theater between 1986-1992, returned to the Ankara State Theater in 1992 and started acting in the first TV series to be broadcast in Türkiye, Ferhunde Hanımlar ve Kızları. She acted in the play Azizname 95, which Ankara State Theater started staging in 1995, and was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress of the Year award at the 6th Afife Jale Awards with the play Küçük Adam Ne Oldu Sana She took part in the plays Kaygusuz Abdal ve Ölümsüzler of the Istanbul State Theatre and took part in the Mahşer section of the Vur/Yaşmala/Yeniden epic play series consisting of 16 short plays staged by Theater DOT in the 2008-2009 theater season, was also in the play called Pornography staged at Theater DOT. She played the role of Bir Ana in Dario Fo's play We All Have the Same Story, consisting of women's stories, at Craft Theater in the 2015-2016 season, and was awarded the Selection Committee Special Award at the 21st Sadri Alışık Theater and Cinema Actor Awards for her performance in this play. In 2008, she played the lead female character Hacer in Nuri Bilge Ceylan's fourth feature film Three Monkeys, and for her role in this film, she won the 7th River Run International Film Festival, the 2nd Yeşilçam Awards and the 41st Cinema Writers Association (SİYAD) Turkish Cinema’s Best Actress Award. She also received the Best Actress Award at the 18th Golden Boll Film Festival for hor role in the 2011 film Vücut.
